My Street Style with Paul Biagui
A few weeks ago, one of my favorite photographers in Atlanta, Paul Biagui, asked me if we could collaborate on a street style photo shoot. In our couple years of knowing each other, he's captured some sweet moments in my life; he was the event photographer at my very first samba show (I'm wearing the white costume)...
... as well as the photo that has been my blog avatar for years.
He was launching an online magazine soon, and he wanted me to be in it. Since I love writing about Atlanta's street art so much, we came up with the concept of taking photos together in front of some of my favorite murals.
Here are a few pics from our shoot! Styling done by me from my closet.
My new favorite shoes.
Closeup on the accessories, all of which happen to be Drea James.
I like the blur on these ones.
Personally, I think there's always time for a shimmy.
This cartoon bag from Jump from Paper is one of my most favorite additions to my wardrobe. It looks 2D, doesn't it?
And here I switched bags to the one that I made, my beloved DIY magazine bag.
All in all, an excellent shoot. Paul is the best.
