$20 Maine Lobsters at Goin' Coastal

This is the post where I tell you about a great deal on delicious food. If you haven't been to Goin' Coastal in Virginia-Highland neighborhood, it would be very shellfish of me not to highly recommend it!

After all, they lavished me with an absolutely scrumptious, sustainably-harvested seafood meal... for only $20.

That's right, on Mondays Goin' Coastal generously offers $20 Maine Lobsters, and as soon as I found out I immediately set up a dinner date with my girls and made a reservation.

My mouth is watering again just looking at these pictures.

With plenty of butter sauce to dip these thick, juicy, well-prepared lobster chunks into - not to mention the basket(s) of cornbread, sweet baby Jesus - it was a perfect evening spent in a really cool Atlanta neighborhood. I haven't hung out in Virginia-Highland that often, but that is about to change.

Your lobster comes with your choice of side. I went with the quinoa and kale salad:

I was the last to finish my food because I was talking so much, lol. But that's how it always is when you're with your girls.

I love these two so much. Both were significant inspirations for me to go out on my own professionally. Robyn works in marketing and promotion, and Jenn is a talented yogi with a jewelry business called Drea James Designs. We talked about our recent highs and lows as we cracked open the lobsters and tipped back our glasses of beer (well, Jenn had champagne.)

All in all, a really great evening spent in Virginia-Highland with great company.
