Street Art: West Midtown

Street art seen in West Midtown:

This mural is heavy with emotion, and it makes you wonder what the artist(s) was trying to convey. Perhaps the all encompassing, protective love of a parent.

I like how their babies look like the opposite parent.

Also in West Midtown, we have this fantastic building, painted by Atlanta-based public artist Hense.

I absolutely love it. I love the geometric lines of the actual building (look at the acute angle above!) and the way the artist just had fun with colors, shapes, and even prints.

At the bottom left, doesn’t that kinda look like a tree ring or a fingerprint? An apt metaphor for how utterly unique this building is in this town.
