Celebrate diversity at the Atlanta Pride Festival. Atlanta Pride Festival, the largest pride festival in the Southeast, returns to Piedmont Park each October following National Coming Out Day.
The highlight of the Atlanta Pride Festival for gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender persons is the Pride Parade on Saturday, which goes up Peachtree Street to Piedmont Park.
The Festival on Ponce is an Atlanta arts and crafts festival set in the historic park, Olmsted Linear Park. Visitors will enjoy the gorgeous landscape designed by one of America’s most celebrated landscape architects, Fredrick Olmsted Sr. along with over 125 displays of fine arts and crafts, folk and “outsider art”. In addition to the fine arts, there will be a children’s area and local food and beverage. Attendance is Free.
Walk around a Decatur neighborhood to hear diverse music on porches and in yards during Oakhurst Porchfest, a grassroots music festival.
Oakhurst is in the southwest corner of Decatur, sandwiched between Agnes Scott College and the College Heights neighborhood to the east and Kirkwood to the west. Our event is spread across the entire neighborhood, filling roughly one square mile. Included streets are shown here.
On October 21st-22nd 2017, Brookhaven will host the 13th Annual Brookhaven Arts Festival through the Brookhaven Community Foundation. More than 140 participating artists will feature works of fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and more. Musical performances will take place over two days with featured performers. It’s a great time for individuals and families to enjoy the beauty of fall while enjoying terrific food, music and art.
